The Antakshari episode in Gabbar Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan, made audiences go bonkers back then. The sequence, packed with retro songs, played a key role in the film’s massive success. A similar sequence is now part of Ustaad Bhagat Singh as well, and during the promotions, Harish Shankar revealed some interesting details about it.
He said, “In Gabbar Singh, the rowdies perform while Pawan Kalyan Garu watches them in the Antakshari episode. However, in Ustaad Bhagat Singh, the scenario is different. The rowdies watch, while Pawan Kalyan Garu performs the songs.”
It looks like Harish Shankar has packed the film with several fan-pleasing moments. Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna played the female leads, while Devi Sri Prasad composed the songs. Thaman handled the background score. The biggie is slated for release on March 19.
