Love Insurance Kompany has taken a slow start at the box office, especially in the Telugu states where the film opened to disappointing reviews. Despite Pradeep Ranganathan having a decent youth following, his craze has not translated into footfalls this time.

Right from day one, the film suffered due to lack of buzz and weak promotions, which reflected in the openings. The negative word of mouth has further slowed things down, making it difficult for the film to pick up momentum over the weekend.

All eyes are now on Sunday, which needs to deliver a strong jump in collections for the film to stay afloat. Otherwise, LIK might struggle to sustain in the coming days. Vignesh Shivan directed the film which had Krithi Shetty as the heroine.
