Star director Maniratnam’s upcoming biggie Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 is ready to hit screens on September 30, 2022. Makers of this star-studded period action drama have begun promotions and released a few character posters to date.
The latest update is that the makers are in plans to release the teaser of the movie on July 8, 2022. The buzz is that the launch event will have only a few important attendees including the cast and crew. The event will happen in Chennai and the teaser will be out in all major South Indian languages and Hindi.
Having Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rajesh, Sobitha Dhulipala and others, the music of the movie is composed by AR Rahman. The film is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies on a grand scale.
