Prabhas, the beloved Telugu star with a pan-Indian following, is gearing up for his next cinematic spectacle, Kalki 2898 AD. Nag Ashwin, of Mahanati fame, is helming this mythological sci-fi drama, with Hindi actress Deepika Padukone in a leading role.
The latest update reveals that a song featuring Prabhas and Disha Patani is currently being shot on Sardinia Island in Italy. The team will soon return to India to complete the remaining portions.
This big-budget production boasts an impressive cast, including Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Pasupathy, Rajendra Prasad, and others. Vyjayanthi Movies is bankrolling this movie on a massive scale, with Santhosh Narayanan as the musical director. The film is confirmed to release in theaters on May 9, 2024.
