It is already known that the Toxic team shot the film simultaneously in English alongside Kannada. International production banner Lionsgate also joined hands with KVN Productions for its distribution.

However, the English version was not released alongside other languages. Now, after Toxic completed its first week at the box office amid poor collections and mixed reviews, the makers have announced an update.

The English version will release tomorrow, September 4, 2026, in select theatres. Surprisingly, the makers have confirmed that the English cut will be shorter than the original 3-hour-14-minute version.

How the English version will be received by audiences remains to be seen. Directed by Geetu Mohandas and headlined by Yash, Toxic is mounted on a reported budget of around Rs. 500 crore.
