After entertaining audiences with the fun web series Miss Perfect, Lavanya Tripathi has signed a new film titled Sathi Leelavathi. The movie features Malayalam actor Dev Mohan as the male protagonist, who made his Telugu debut with Shaakuntalam. Tatineni Satya of Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu and Shiva Manasulo Shruti (SMS) fame is directing the film.
Under the presentation of the leading production house, Aanandi Art Creations, the film is being jointly produced by Nagamohan Babu M and Rajesh T under Durgadevi Pictures and Trio Studios banners. The Pooja formalities were held at the Sanghi House in Ramoji Film City this morning.
Mega Prince Varun Tej, film presenter Gemini Kiran, producers Harish Peddi, V. Ananda Prasad, Anne Ravi, Tatineni Satya’s father and senior director TLV Prasad, and other prominent film personalities graced the occasion. Producer Harish Peddi provided the first clap while Varun Tej switched on the camera. TLV Prasad directed the first shot.
On the occasion, Director Tatineni Satya said, “Sathi Leelavathi will be a feel-good and breezy entertainer. It is a romantic drama that ticks all the boxes. Lavanya Tripathi and Dev Mohan’s fresh look and pairing will be a major highlight. The regular shoot will also commence today.”
