After wrapping up his ongoing period magnum opus, Sye Raa, Megastar Chiranjeevi will be joining hands with director Koratala Siva for a social drama. Ever since the project had made headlines last year, there has been a constant speculation about the film’s leading lady.

Until recently, names of popular heroines like Anushka, Nayanthara and Shruti Haasan were prominently heard as the film’s heroine. However, the latest buzz is that Koratala Siva has approached Nayan to play Chiru’s love interest in the film and the actress responded positively. Interestingly, Chiru and Nayan are already sharing screen space in Sye Raa. An official confirmation regarding Nayan’s inclusion in the cast is awaited.

This as-yet-untitled film will mark Chiru’s first collaboration with Koratala Siva. The project will be produced by Ram Charan in association with Matinee Entertainments’ Niranjan Reddy. The film’s muhurtham ceremony will be held on Chiru’s birthday (August 22) and the regular shooting will kick-start from September. Stay tuned for further details.
