Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo is on a record-breaking spree. The movie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is the highest day-one and first-week grosser in Kollywood. The action drama has set all-time records in many regions like the UK and Canada.
The overseas distributor has now revealed that Leo collected a whopping 24.2 million dollars from foreign markets, which is approximately 201 crores in Indian currency. Leo has gone past the collections of Jailer in overseas.
Only Thalapathy Vijay and Superstar Rajinikanth have a strong market in foreign countries from Kollywood. As the Tamil diaspora is huge in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, and the UK, Kollywood films are making huge moolah in the international markets.
