Yesterday’s reports claimed that Salman Khan’s Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace was facing censor hurdles and that the delay in certification had led to the film’s postponement from August 2026.
However, the team has now issued a public note stating that the claims are entirely false. The movie has not yet been submitted to the CBFC for certification, and the reports about a censor delay are completely baseless.
The makers have requested media outlets to refrain from circulating unverified information. Meanwhile, fans are urging the team to release the film at the earliest and promote it properly. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film stars Chitrangada Singh as the female lead.
