Actress Priyanka Arul Mohan was last seen in They Call Him OG. Now, her new film Made in Korea is arriving directly on Netflix. The feature marks her digital debut and is set to stream from midnight today.

Though promotions are underway, the film hasn’t generated much positive buzz so far. Priyanka plays the central character in this project, and this first step into the streaming space is quite crucial for the actress as she explores opportunities in OTT.

The film, said to be the first Indo-Korean project that was completely shot in Korea, revolves around the journey of a young woman from Tamil Nadu who travels to Seoul in search of a better life. This coming-of-age cross-cultural drama is directed by Ra Karthik.

Made in Korea stars Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead role alongside Park Hye-jin, Jang Jae-hyun, Rishikanth, Kim So-ri, Ha Ram, and No Ho-jin. Produced by Srinidhi Sagar, the film features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Apart from Tamil, it will also be available in Telugu and other regional languages.

It remains to be seen whether this Netflix release will give Priyanka a strong start in the OTT space and work in her favour.
