Maharshi, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s landmark 25th movie, has had a decent first weekend at the box-offices across the US. The film will close at a little more than $1.4M by the Sunday night shows.
Until Saturday night, Maharshi collected $1.223M in the US. The film collected another $170,934 from 195 locations till 10:30 PM EST, taking its latest total to $1,394,240. The film has underperformed due to Avengers: End Game and no opening day offers. Maharshi’s real challenge begins on Monday, as the film has to gross at least $2.5M to break even.
