The makers of Ramayana are leaving no stone unturned to make the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer a global cinematic event. According to reports, a staggering ₹375 crore is being allocated for promotions alone.

Sony Pictures will handle its overseas distribution, ensuring a massive global release. While the scale of the promotional campaign has impressed many, it has also raised questions about the financial risk involved.

Spending such a huge amount on marketing means the film will have to perform exceptionally well at the box office to recoup the costs.

However, the makers seem confident about the project. With a star-studded cast, grand visuals, and a historic story at its core, Ramayana is clearly the biggest film India has ever seen.
