This Sankranthi saw the release of Chiranjeevi’s mega hit Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. The film marks the star’s maiden collaboration with director Anil Ravipudi, with Nayanthara playing the female lead.
After its premiere last Sunday, the film hit screens worldwide and has been receiving positive responses ever since. Ticket sales have remained strong, and the collections continue to rise steadily, setting new records.
The film has so far grossed over Rs. 261 crore worldwide (6 days). With the current momentum, the Rs. 300 crore global gross mark is well within reach and is expected to be achieved soon.
Apart from Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, the film also stars Catherine Tresa, Sachin Khedekar, Harsha Vardhan, Zarina Wahab, with Venkatesh appearing in a special cameo. The film is produced by Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
