Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is on a record breaking spree everywhere. The actor’s previous film, Bholaa Shankar, was a disappointing venture, but Chiru made a monstrous comeback as the latest family entertainer is set to become the new regional industry hit in Tollywood.
In just five days, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu collected a jaw-dropping Rs. 226 crores gross globally, the fastest ever for a regional Telugu film. All it took was one good film for Chiranjeevi to show who the boss of box office is. With today and tomorrow, the movie is set to breach the Rs. 275 crore mark.
What makes this movie special is that Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita Konidela co-produced it along with Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens. Nayanthara played the female lead. Victory Venkatesh appeared in an extended cameo. Catherine Tresa, Harshavardhan Abhinav Gomatam, and Sachin Khedekar played supporting roles.
