Mandaadi is the latest Tamil film to gain momentum at the ticket window, giving strong competition to Sardar 2. Starring Soori and Suhas, the sports action drama is now picking up pace and attracting audiences.
The film is showing solid growth on its first Sunday, with more than 20K tickets sold on BookMyShow alone per hour. The strong advance sales suggest that Mandaadi could register its best numbers yet and end the weekend on a positive note.
The film is also witnessing an increase in screen count across the Telugu states following its encouraging response. With the other releases failing to make much of an impact, Mandaadi has emerged as a good option for moviegoers this weekend.
Directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi and produced by Elred Kumar under RS Infotainment, Mandaadi features Mamitha Baiju, Sathyaraj and others in key roles. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music.
