The political thriller made over 9 crores showcasing the popularity of Vijay in the masses. Superstar Vijay has not been a popular star in Telugu from quite some time now and his films have not taken that sort of opening previously.
Now, things have changed and his market value has increased tremendously. So, the next Vijay film will surely open good in the Telugu states and if his films keep doing well, he will be a threat to big heroes as well.
