Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani has achieved yet another special honor in his illustrious career. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has entrusted the veteran music director with the job of composing the state anthem ‘Jaya Jayahe Telangana’ penned by acclaimed Telangana poet Andesri.
June 2nd will mark the 10th anniversary of Telangana state formation. To celebrate this special occasion, the state government has roped in MM Keeravani and Andesri to come up with a revamped version of the iconic Jaya Jayahe Telangana state anthem. Keeravani has finished composing the song, and he met CM Revanth Reddy today to submit the finished version.
CM Revanth Reddy is planning to get the Jaya Jayahe Telangana song unveiled by AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi on June 2, to coincide with the 10th Telangana state formation day celebrations. The 90-second song will narrate the sacrifices of the martyrs to attain statehood, the rich Telangana culture, and other key aspects. The song will be dedicated to the people of Telangana.
