Much-hyped Malayalam film Drishyam 3 opened to mixed reviews, but surprisingly, that isn’t affecting the film’s box office run. Normally, when a biggie doesn’t receive a positive response, there will be a noticeable drop in numbers from day two.
However, in the case of Drishyam 3, collections remained very strong. The movie recorded the biggest second day in Kerala, overtaking Mohanlal’s very own L2: Empuraan. Drishyam 3 is set to post stunning numbers over the weekend.
Unlike the previous installments, Drishyam 3 was dubbed and released in other South Indian languages this time. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the movie also stars Meena, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil in key roles.
