Allu Arjun is currently busy with his next big-budget film, Raaka, directed by Atlee. Starring Deepika Padukone as the female lead, the film is being planned as a two-part franchise, with Sun Pictures bankrolling the project on a massive scale.
For the past few days, rumours have been circulating on social media that Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a cameo role in the film, with his portions reportedly set to be shot overseas.
However, according to the latest reports, there is no truth to these claims. The speculation appears to have gained momentum because of Atlee’s close camaraderie with Shah Rukh Khan following their successful collaboration on Jawan.
Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that the film’s shoot will resume tomorrow on a specially erected set. A key sequence featuring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone is expected to be filmed during this schedule, with a major portion of Deepika’s role likely to be completed.
There is also buzz that Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur are part of the film’s ensemble cast, although the makers are yet to make an official announcement. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has music composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
