Mohanlal, the face of Malayalam cinema, is about to receive the country’s highest honor for film – the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Just a day ahead of the ceremony, the actor was seen at the launch of his much-awaited project, Drishyam 3.
The blockbuster crime-thriller series is once again in the hands of director Jeethu Joseph, with Ashirwad Cinemas backing the production. The launch event also marked the start of the film’s shoot.
Meena, who has been part of the franchise since the beginning, is back to play her role in the third installment. Details of the rest of the cast and crew will be revealed in the coming days.
