During the pre-release event of Mowgli 2025, the film’s antagonist, Bandi Saroj Kumar, made a remark that led the production house to issue an apology to the CBFC. Bandi Saroj Kumar stated that his acting had taken aback the censor board, and this comment created unnecessary controversy. The producers have now released a press note offering clarification.
“People Media Factory extends its sincere apologies to the Censor Board and the Censor Officer for the unfortunate incident yesterday. An unintended remark was made by our actor, Bandi Saroj, regarding the Censor Board and the officer’s reactions. We wish to clarify that we hold the highest regard for the Censor process and deeply respect the Board’s role in governing content with responsibility and integrity,” the makers stated.
With the clash against Balayya’s Akhanda 2, Mowgli 2025 has already been gaining traction among movie buffs, and this latest issue has further drawn attention to the film. Roshan Kanakala and Sakkshi Mhadolkar play the lead roles, while Viva Harsha appears in an important role.
