After a very long time, Mollywood got an industry hit with the survival thriller 2018. “Everyone is a hero” is its tagline. The movie is based on the 2018 Kerala floods, which affected the lives of many. The film, directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, is up for a grand release in Telugu this Friday.
Naga Chaitanya, who watched the movie, shared his thoughts on his Twitter handle. He wrote that it is a beautiful movie and asked the audience not to miss it in theatres. Naga Chaitanya further added that 2018 is hard-hitting and emotional. Bunny Vas is releasing the Telugu version.
The movie features an ensemble star cast of Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Aparna Balamurali, Kalaiyarasan, Narain, Lal, Indrans, Aju Varghese, and Tanvi Ram. 2018 is produced together by Venu Kunnappilly, C.K. Padma Kumar, and Anto Joseph.
