Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi (PAPA) is a Telugu romantic comedy starring Naga Shaurya and Malvika Nair in the lead roles. The film, directed by Srinivas Avasarala, explores the seven phases of the relationship between the lead pair. Bankrolled by T. G. Vishwa Prasad, Padmaja Dasari, and People Media Factory in association with Dasari creations and co-produced by Vivek Kuchibotla, the film will arrive in theatres tomorrow.

The team conducted a press meet today, and Naga Shaurya answered different questions. Speaking about the low-key promotions, Naga Shaurya said that the promotions don’t suit all kinds of films and expressed his belief that the movie will pick pace through positive word of mouth. Naga Shaurya cited the examples of KGF and Kantara, for which promotions increased after the release.

Talking about the working style of Srinivas Avasarala, Naga Shaurya said that the director never narrated stories to him but instead gave him books to read. Naga Shaurya stated that Srinivas Avasarala is always clear with his direction and added that he takes pride in catching the pulse of his dialogues.

Naga Shaurya said he is not worried about the result as the film shaped up well. The young actor said that PAPA gave him a great canvas to put his best efforts into showcasing his acting talent. The Oohalu Gusagusalade actor noted that initially, he found it challenging getting adjusted to sync sound and added that authenticity would have been lost if they went ahead with normal dubbing.

When asked about the director’s works not getting enough recognition in other languages, the talented actor said that Srinivas Avasarala is a modern-day Jandhyala and added that his works should be enjoyed in Telugu only.
