Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s recent outing Mass Jathara, directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, failed to meet expectations at the box office. Sreeleela played the female lead in the film, which was produced by Naga Vamsi. In an interview, the producer opened up about the performance of the mass action drama.

“I felt the entire stretch from the pre-interval to the climax was pretty good. I don’t know where we went wrong. I won’t say the film made massive numbers, but at the same time, it didn’t perform like a flop movie either. It made decent money, which went largely unnoticed,” said Naga Vamsi.

He added, “We don’t know where we misfired. Was it Bheems’ music, Sreeleela, or Rajendra Prasad garu? Some complained that the music was too loud, while others felt the comedy episodes involving Rajendra Prasad and Sreeleela didn’t click. I’m unable to judge where things went wrong.”
