Natural Star Nani is right now busy promoting HIT 3 in Tamil Nadu. Nani is confident that his film will perform well in Tamil. The action thriller stars Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. Sailesh Kolanu is the director. In one of the interviews, Nani and Srinidhi Shetty were asked to reveal their latest favorite Tamil film. Srinidhi said Lubber Pandhu left her in awe.
Nani replied, “Forget Tamil Cinema. Meiyazhagan (Satyam Sundaram in Telugu) is my favorite movie of the last decade. It’s an absolute beauty. That film made me feel overwhelmed. Prem Kumar (director) created magic. You can build sets and spend 1000s of crores. All that is appreciated and respected. But this is pure magic. Massive respect to Karthi, Arvind Swamy sir, and Prem for giving us this timeless classic.”
Nani added, “I called and lauded Karthi for delivering a film like Meiyazhagan. Whenever I think of that movie, it makes me feel happy.” The heartwarming entertainer produced by Suriya received widespread acclaim and was also a commercial success at the box office.
