Natural Star Nani’s recent film Hi Nanna started on a slow note at the box office, but with good word of mouth, the movie performed well in its opening weekend. The family drama is directed by debutant Shouryuv. Mrunal Thakur played the female lead. The film has already surpassed 1.5 million dollars at the USA box office.

Hi Nanna has now entered its second weekend, and the occupancies have increased significantly. Especially the film is registering very good revenues in Hyderabad. Hi Nanna’s box office performance can be considered excellent given the fact that it came a week after Animal and two weeks before Salaar.

Nani’s brand image among the family audience is doing the trick for Hi Nanna. Hesham Abdul Wahab of Hridayam and Kushi fame composed the tunes. Jayaram, Priyadarshi, Nasser, Angad Bedi, Viraj Ashwin, and others played vital roles. Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala and Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) produced the film under Vyra Entertainments.
