Neeraj Chopra wins Olympic gold; Chiru, Venky and Mahesh heap praises

23-year-old Haryana lad Neeraj Chopra created history by winning the Olympic gold medal in Javelin Throw. With this memorable victory, Neeraj has ended India’s 101-year-old wait for a medal in athletics. The entire country is proud of Neeraj’s achievement.

Joining the billion plus overwhelmed citizens, several Tollywood stars took to Twitter and heaped praises on the champion athlete. “This is an absolute glorious moment for India! 101 years in the Making for this moment! An Olympic Gold in Athletics!! @Neeraj_chopra1 Take A Bow. You have scripted History and You have changed the Course of History,” Chiru tweeted.

Venky too had some nice things to say about Neeraj. “Super super win by @Neeraj_chopra1 as he wins the gold medal in men’s javelin,” the Narappa star tweeted. Finally, an excited Mahesh Babu tweeted, saying, “India’s first ever gold in athletics! Absolutely elated and proud! @Neeraj_chopra1″s name is etched in history forever.. Bravo!!,” Mahesh tweeted.
