Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Srinu’s mass action drama Skanda had magnanimous expectations before its release, but the film didn’t live up to the hype. However, Ram Pothineni impressed fans with his performance and mass swag. Sreeleela played the female lead. Skanda had a PAN-Indian release.
The movie should have had its world television premiere today, but due to unknown reasons, it didn’t telecast today. Skanda will now air on 28th January on Star Maa at 05:30 PM. Interestingly, Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari also has its world television premiere scheduled on the same day on Zee Telugu.
Major fame Saiee Manjrekar essayed another crucial role in Skanda. SS Thaman composed the tunes. Srinivasaa Chitturi bankrolled the film under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. The film also features Srikanth, Prince, Sharath Lohitashwa, Indraja, Ajay Purkar, Daggubati Raja, Kalakeya Prabhakar, and Babloo Prithveeraj in crucial roles.
