Newton’s 3rd Law, the Sumanth-led thriller, is heading to OTT after an underwhelming theatrical run. Released on July 31, 2026, the film could not make the expected impact despite its promising premise and strong cast.
Netflix, the film’s official streaming partner, will premiere it on August 28, 2026, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, a day after its ETV Win debut.
The film had an intriguing story and capable performances, but its execution worked against it theatrically. With a wider multilingual OTT release, Newton’s 3rd Law now gets another opportunity to connect with audiences.
Jagapathi Babu, Srinivas Avasarala, Neha Pathan, Trinadh Varma, Shelly N Kumar, Ravi Varma and others feature in the film. Written and directed by Rajesh Karna, it is produced by Mark My Words Entertainments, Celestial Art Studio and VFX Shashwat.
