The much-awaited Ramayana trailer is set for a grand digital launch tomorrow at 8 AM on YouTube. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, the mythological epic is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra.
Given the film’s massive scale and the trailer being readied in 3D, many expected a theatrical launch before its digital premiere. However, the makers have not planned any such screenings. The 3D version appears to have been censored for a future release alongside upcoming 3D films. This comes as a disappointment to fans who were hoping to experience the trailer on the big screen.
Produced by Prime Focus Studios in association with Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana features Academy Award-winning VFX studio DNEG handling the visual effects. The film is scheduled to release during Diwali 2026 in IMAX and other premium formats.
