Director Mysskin’s horror film Pisasu (Pisaachi in Telugu) is a box office hit. The movie received positive responses from critics and audiences alike and was later remade in other languages as well. The director began working on its sequel, Pisasu 2 (Pisachi 2 in Telugu), with popular actress-cum-singer Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role.
Pisasu 2 should have hit the big screens long ago, but the release has been kept on hold due to financial disputes. For a long time, there have been rumors on social media that Pisasu 2 will feature nude content. In a recent interview, Andrea clarified that the film won’t contain any nudity. She said, “Nudity was there during the scripting phase. But while shooting, Mysskin sir removed those portions. I don’t know the actual reason.”
Andrea added, “There is no nudity, but Pisasu 2 will have many erotic scenes. Mysskin sir is not doing this film for survival. He collaborated with many big heroes in the past. If such a director is asking me to do something for a role, I have to trust his vision. His intent is different. Some people told me to pull down my skirt, too.”
Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in a cameo. Poorna, Santhosh Prathap, and others are also a part of this horror movie. Produced by T Muruganantham under the Rockfort Entertainment banner, the film’s music is composed by Karthik Raja. Tollywood ace producer Dil Raju grabbed the theatrical rights for the Telugu states.
