Speaking about Ram Charan’s dedication to Peddi, cinematographer Ratnavelu said that the viral wrestling shots were completely real and that no VFX was used. He revealed that Charan had very little time to transform into a wrestler with a bulked body and achieved the look without consuming non-vegetarian food.
Ratnavelu added that Ram Charan delivered a career-best performance in Peddi and that the pre-climax and climax portions will leave everyone emotional. He further teased fans about the third look of the star.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The film is slated to hit the big screens on June 4 and features music composed by AR Rahman. Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas is bankrolling the film.
