Social media is a place where most of the issues go out of hand. India’s noted aviation company, Spicejet faced a lot of issues with their latest post on Twitter.

Going into details, on December 19th, Spicejet posted a tweet where Indian legendary actor, Dharmendra was seen posing with the cabin crew of the airline. The Twitter handle of Spicejet named the post “Garam-Dharam with our red-hot girls.”

Well, this post did not go well with many and the usage of the word red-hot was found to be sexist by a few. The issue became quite serious as the National Commission of Women (NCW), a government body that promotes and protects women’s interests in India found the post objectionable.

Their team approached the Spicejet people and now the airline has reacted and has removed the controversial post stating that they had no intention of carrying such remarks against women in general.
