Hollywood blockbuster horror flick Obsession is setting the box office on fire in India, too. The film is written, directed, and edited by Curry Barker in his theatrical directorial debut. The week-on-week trend of Obsession has been phenomenal, to say the least. Backed by extraordinary word of mouth, the movie continues to set the cash registers ringing.
According to trade reports, Obsession has collected over Rs. 60 crores gross in India so far and is set to cross the Rs. 75 crore mark by this weekend. Trade pundits opine that the possibility of the film hitting even Rs. 100 crores cannot be ruled out.
Not just in metro cities, Obsession has also spread its impact to smaller centres, resulting in a blockbuster run. Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette played the lead roles. Globally, the film has grossed an astounding $250 million against its $750K budget.
