Jr NTR’s Devara was released last year and went on to entertain fans big time. Director Siva Koratala had already planned a sequel and announced it at the end of the film. However, recent rumours claimed that the project was shelved, but the sequel is still very much on.
Producer Sudhakar Mikkilineni of Yuvasudha Arts announced that the film will begin shooting from May 2026 and is expected to release in 2027. He made these comments during an event held last night at Bathukamma Kunta in Jangaon.
The official confirmation has revived excitement among Tarak fans. With this announcement, Jr NTR now has four films in the pipeline – Devara 2, the NTR–Neel project, a mythological film with Trivikram, and another film with Nelson Dilipkumar.
With such a packed lineup, Jr NTR is expected to remain busy with releases until 2028. Stay tuned for more interesting updates.
