PVR and INOX, the biggest multiplex chains in India, have officially announced their merger today. After a board meeting, they announced it publicly and the multiplex giants will jointly have more than 1500 screens across India.
From now onwards, the combined entity will be known as PVR INOX Limited. It is also noted that Ajay Bijli, the Chairman of PVR,is the new Managing Director of the new brand.
