Talented director-turned-actor Tharun Bhascker recently turned protagonist for the rom-com entertainer Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi. Eesha Rebba played the female lead. Directed by debutant A. R. Sajeev, the film is the official remake of the Mollywood blockbuster Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey.
Since the Malayalam version was widely watched on OTT, the remake didn’t fare well at the box office and ended up as a flop. The latest update reveals that Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi will make its OTT debut on March 4. Aha holds the post-theatrical streaming rights, and Aha Gold subscribers will get 24 hours of early access.
The film is backed by S Originals and Movie Verse Studios, with Srujan Yarabolu, Aditya Pittie, Vivek Krishnani, Anup Chandrasekaran, Sadhik Shaik, and Naveen Sanivarapu serving as producers. Rohini and Brahmaji played key roles.
