After wrapping up Nani’s The Paradise, young and talented filmmaker Srikanth Odela is set to start working with Megastar Chiranjeevi. It has been a long-standing desire of Megastar fans to see the legendary actor in a new-age action film like Vikram. Finally, their prayers were heard as Chiru gears up to be part of his most violent film.
According to print media reports, yesteryear Bollywood sensation Rani Mukerji is in consideration for this flick, tentatively titled #ChiruOdelaCinema. The reports stated, “The female lead is very significant to the plot. The leading lady is a middle-aged woman, and Srikanth Odela opined that Rani Mukerji will fit the bill. The director suggested the actress’s name to Chiranjeevi, who also gave his nod to the proposal.”
It is also said that Chiru-Odela movie makers are yet to approach the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress. Chiru’s recent films were criticized heavily due to the age gap between him and heroines. It looks like the feedback has finally reached Megastar, and this is a welcome move. Nani, the film’s presenter, made it clear that the film will go on floors in 2026. Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas is producing this flick.
