Action King Arjun’s Blast, also starring Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, was a huge blockbuster in theatres. The action comedy entertainer has now emerged as a sensation on Netflix.
In its opening weekend, the movie garnered a massive 4.4 million views, making it the second-most-watched Tamil film on the OTT platform since 2024. Blast is behind only Dhanush’s Idli Kadai, which registered 5.2 million views in its first five days of digital release.
After its digital launch, Blast is drawing a phenomenal response from audiences of other languages as well, resulting in solid viewership. AGS Entertainment backed Blast, which earned over Rs. 75 crores at the global box office. Ravi Basrur is the music composer.
