Tovino Thomas’ Malayalam period action drama Pallichattambi, directed by Dijo Jose Antony, failed to leave a mark at the box office despite generating decent pre release buzz. More than two months after its theatrical release, the film is yet to announce its OTT premiere.
Interestingly, Tovino’s subsequent release, Athiradi, has already arrived on Sony LIV, while Pallichattambi remains unavailable on any streaming platform. The prolonged silence has left fans curious about the delay.
Industry reports suggest the film’s digital rights are yet to be sold, although the makers have not confirmed the reason or revealed an OTT partner. For now, viewers will have to wait for an official update.
The film also features Kayadu Lohar, Shatru, Vijayaraghavan, Siddique, and Baburaj in key roles. Produced by World Wide Films and C Qube Bros Entertainments, Pallichattambi has music composed by Jakes Bejoy.
