Jeethu Joseph created quite a sensation with the Drishyam franchise. The acclaimed filmmaker has been planning to explore other genres moving away from crime thrillers, but interestingly, he is only being offered thriller scripts. His recent suspense thriller Mirage, featuring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali in the lead roles, opened to mixed reviews and ended up as a box-office failure.
The film has now wrapped up its theatrical run and is gearing up for its OTT debut. As per the latest update, Mirage will start streaming on Sony LIV from October 20. The theatrical window is a little over four weeks. Mirage will also be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, and Bengali audios from he said date.
Mirage was jointly produced by Naad Sstudios and E4 Experiments in association with Seven 1 Seven Productions and Bedtime Stories. The music was composed by Vishnu Shyam, while Hakim Shahjahan, Hannah Reji Koshy, and Saravanan played key roles.
