Blackmail is the latest Tamil crime thriller headlined by music composer turned actor GV Prakash Kumar. It is written and directed by Mu Maran and features Teju Ashwini as the female lead. The film was a commercial failure.
According to the latest update, Blackmail will be available for streaming from October 30 on SunNXT. However, the digital platform is set to release only the Tamil version. Given the genre, the movie is expected to garner decent viewership. The theatrical window is seven weeks.
Blackmail follows a group of individuals, each dealing with personal struggles and hidden secrets. Each of them becomes a target of blackmail, triggering a gripping butterfly effect.
