Coolie featuring Superstar Rajinikanth is undoubtedly one of the most hyped films of the year. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action drama fell short of expectations as audiences found the content underwhelming. The film made good numbers at the box office, but Lokesh faced heavy criticism for his writing.
Last month, Coolie made its OTT debut on Prime Video in South Indian languages. The latest update is that the film’s Hindi version, titled “Coolie: The Powerhouse,” is now available for streaming on Prime Video. The theatrical window for the Hindi dubbed version is eight weeks.
Coolie also stars King Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Rachita Ram, and Shruti Haasan in key roles, with special cameo appearances by Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, the big-ticket entertainer features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
