Actress Kajal Aggarwal was last seen in Kannappa, and her eight-year-old psychological thriller Awe is back in the spotlight as it is set to leave Netflix.
The film marks the directorial debut of Prashanth Varma, who later went on to deliver the blockbuster Hanu-Man. Awe was produced by actor Nani under the Wall Poster Cinema banner, in association with Prashanti Tipirneni.
Currently streaming on Netflix, the film will be taken down from the platform on February 14, 2026, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. There is no clarity yet on whether the platform will renew its streaming rights.
Awe features an ensemble cast including Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, and Murali Sharma in key roles. Mark K Robin composed the music. The film also earned two National Film Awards in technical categories
