Star heroine Keerthy Suresh had only one theatrical release this year, and unfortunately, it ended up as a loss. The film was Revolver Rita, directed by JK Chandru.
Released last month in both Tamil and Telugu without much buzz, the movie failed to make an impact at the box office and faded out quickly. It could not attract audiences and now, the film is back in the news as it has started streaming on Netflix in multiple languages, including Telugu.
OTT often works as a second chance for films that underperform in theatres, and it remains to be seen whether Revolver Rita manages to find better acceptance among the OTT audiences.
Apart from Keerthy Suresh, the film also features Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, Radhika Sarathkumar, John Vijay, Redin Kingsley, and others in supporting roles. The music is composed by Sean Roldan, and the crime action comedy is jointly produced by Passion Studios and The Route.
