Now-You-See-Me---Now-You-Do

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, directed by Ruben Fleischer, is the third installment in the popular Hollywood magician-heist franchise. Featuring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and Isla Fisher, with Rosamund Pike in an important role, the film leans on its trademark blend of stylish illusions and twists. However, the narrative largely plays it safe and doesn’t offer much beyond what audiences have already seen in the earlier parts.

The film has now begun streaming in India on Amazon Prime Video in English, available exclusively on a rental basis for Rs. 499. Given the mixed response it received during its theatrical run, the pricing may feel a bit steep for viewers who were expecting something fresher from the franchise.

At the box office, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t delivered an average performance worldwide, doing comparatively better in overseas markets than in India. While it managed to recover its investment, the film fell short of recreating the excitement and impact associated with the earlier installments.
