Farzi marked the OTT debut of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. Directed by Raj & DK, the web show was a smash hit on Prime Video with record-breaking viewership. Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger, promising an intense face-off between Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, and Kay Kay Menon.
Today, Raj & DK took to social media and revealed that the much-awaited second installment is currently in production. The director duo shared a picture and captioned it “Round 2 in progress,” teasing audiences about Season 2. Reports suggest that Farzi is expected to premiere during the second half of 2026.
However, an official confirmation is awaited regarding the release window. The expectations are massive, and hence Farzi 2 is also set to achieve solid traction just like the first season. The web series also features Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and Kavya Thapar in significant roles.
