The much-loved Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney’s latest psychological thriller The Housemaid is back in the headlines. Paul Feig has directed this A-rated film, which hit cinemas in December 2025.
After its successful run at the box office, the movie has now arrived on the Indian OTT space. Amazon Prime Video has started streaming the film from today, and the surprising aspect is that it is available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Marathi, apart from English.
While it is common for English films to be released in major Indian languages, releasing it in Marathi comes as a bit of a surprise.However, there is a catch – viewers need to pay Rs. 149 to watch the film.
The Housemaid is based on the bestselling novel by Freida McFadden. The film falls under the psychological thriller genre and revolves around dark secrets, manipulation, and unexpected twists.
