Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom opened strongly at the box office, but later the film couldn’t continue the momentum. The action drama directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri is now available for streaming on Netflix in major Indian languages. Though the movie didn’t reach expectations in theatres, it is creating a rampage on OTT.
According to Ormax Media, Kingdom is the most-watched film in India on OTT for the past two weeks (August 25 – September 7), with a cumulative 5.9 million views. Kingdom is ahead of Bollywood titles like Metro in India, Maalik, Inspector Zende, and Maa in the last week, showcasing its absolute domination on digital screens. The movie, gaining solid traction on OTT, has raised discussions about the second installment.
Kingdom also stars Bhagyashri Borse, Satyadev, Venkitesh, Bhoomi Shetty, Manish Chaudhari, and others in key roles. Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the movie features music by Anirudh Ravichander.
