Released as a Tamil-only film on January 10, 2026, Parasakthi marks Sivakarthikeyan’s return in a period drama. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara and features Sreeleela, Atharva, and Ravi Mohan in prominent roles.

While the response from audiences and critics has been on the modest side, the film has managed to register decent box-office numbers. In its first two days, Parasakthi collected around Rs. 51 crore gross worldwide. With no major Tamil releases arriving immediately, the film is expected to hold steady at the box office over the next few days.

The movie also includes cameo appearances by Rana Daggubati, Basil Joseph, and Dhananjay. It is produced by Dawn Pictures, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
